Radical, girls. Love it! Makes me want to visit my hometown for some food. Wish they never got rid of Arturo’s, though…

Another outstanding episode! The historical part is excellent. Looking forward to Larkin’s and Michaelangelos. No more going to Pasadena, Glendale and beyond for a great evening…it’s all here in Eagle Rock, yea!

Thanks, for this. I’ve been hoping that Larkin’s will serve mac n cheese–so glad to know that my fix will be so close to me.
I also agree that Eagle Rock should look at other forms of parking to make Colorado (and Eagle Rock Blvd) more walkable.
Thanks,
Amy

Thanks for all the nice kudos! Harold — tell us about Arturo’s. Where was it? What kind of food? What was your favorite dish? What happened to the place?

I went to Oinkster on the recommendation that they have the best garden burger in Eagle Rock. After eating the soggy mess that I suppose was a veggie burger from Oinkster, I have to disagree that they are the best. The title of Best Garden Burger in Eagle Rock should go to Pete’s Blue Chips! Their price is much better too - you can get a burger, fries, and drink for under $5. Tip: Ask for a wheat bun when ordering your burger.

Hi Laurel & April,
I only have one remark to make. That is to keep up the work you are doing. It is fantastic!!

I was looking for Arturo’s and stumbled upon this website. Sad to learn that Arturo’s is no more. It was my favorite taco place in LA. R.I.P.
