A drive by shooting near the library?!  Are you kidding me?  Does anyone have any details?  Pretty scary.

Here's the LA Times Blog http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2010/02/victim-shot-near-eagle-rock-library.html

We're in touch with LAPD who report:
"the victim was transported to Huntington Hospital with no life threatening injuries and no suspect description"

and I'll post new information as I get it.

We're trying to keep dispensaries 1000 feet away from schools - I'm thinking I want my house 1000 feet away from these kids.

Michael Can we get more info about the two gangs that were involved?  Why were the individuals where they were?

I'm still waiting to hear from LAPD about details. They may be close to an arrest and reluctant to give out info. I'll post as soon as I hear anything.

by the way it was not a "drive by" - little punks walking the street with guns.

The police should release the name of the victim- that way everyone with kids in the school could stay away from him and his "friends".
